Helen was one of the people who were trapped by a horde of zombies in a Pennsylvanian farm house during the early stages of the undead apocalypse.
Biography[]
When the undead outbreak occurred, Helen, her husband Harry, and their daughter Karen were attacked by a horde of zombies which turned over their car and bit Karen. They joined with Tom and Judy and hid in the cellar of a Pennsylvanian farmhouse. They eventually leave the cellar, and meet fellow survivors Ben and Barbara, who have barricaded themselves in the house from the zombie hordes.
Later, when the group discovers that the nearby town of Willard is being used as a refugee station, and that their attackers are the recently dead brought back to life, they devise a plan to refuel Ben's truck outside and escape to Willard. However, the plan fails when Tom and Judy are killed.
Later, when the house's power is cut and zombies begin breaking in, Helen tries to stop the front door from falling down and letting the zombies in. Several zombies break their hands through the door and grab Helen until Barbara jumps into action and fends the zombies off. After Ben shoots Harry for trying to kill the former, Helen runs downstairs into the cellar to save Karen. There, she finds, to her horror, her daughter now one of the undead and feasting on Harry's corpse. Karen advances on Helen and guts her to death with a trowel.
After Ben locks himself in the cellar with the dead Harry and Helen, Helen reanimates, forcing Ben to shoot her in the head and kill her.
